Spring 2012 color trend - Bellflower

Spring is in the air and you can feel it in the morning breeze blowing through your hair! This year we have some fresh, bright and new colors to inspire our closet and uplift our lives! Let’s face it ladies, pretty clothes and nice accessories are an instant therapy session. A quick and easy way to uplift your spirits and put you in an excellent mood is putting together a hot new outfit that turns heads and earns us compliments! Today I'm sharing a pretty outfit inspired by one of the beautiful 2012 Spring colors! The color Bellflower.

I just love this off-the-shoulder black and white checked peplum blouse!! Off the shoulder top with long shorts is the perfect solution for those days in the spring where you need to wear an extra layer of clothing to keep you warm. You can wear a light pull over off the shoulder sweater on top of your spring outfits also. The look that I put together is a causal chic outfit for a rainy spring day or in the evening. 

I combined this peplum off-the-shoulder blouse with a long short in one of the hottest color of spring; Bellfower, I weared a pair of Hunter Wellingtons and it just gave me the final touch to create a perfect look for a rainy day. 

The color bellflower makes you pop and add more radiance to yourself, the color combination of this outfit is definitely eye-catching.

Women love the flirtatious and playful appeal of an off the shoulder top as it can expose their neck and shoulders but can still hide the rest of their body.  This outfit is also perfect to all women of all shapes and sizes.  You can wear an off the shoulder top anytime you want, just make sure you are going to choose the right fabric that will be suitable for the weather. 

The simple necessities are these:

1) Glossy skin
2) Not a lot of froufrou at the neckline--a skinny chain at best. Hoop earrings would be great, though.
3) A relatively covered-up bottom half. If you wore short-shorts with a blouse like this, the impact of the shoulders would be lost.
