Classic and chic neutrals

No colorblocking today but a soft and stylish outfit. A beige jacket is a real musthave for my wardrobe.I wear my beige oversized jacket all the time because it’s really perfect for almost any occasion. An indispensable basic that you can combine in different ways!

What I'm wearing:
Jacket: H&M trend, Turtleneck: Zara, From temptation Boutique; Jeans: All American Girl Wax Jeans, Shoes: Carlos Santana, Belt: Michael Kors, Rosary Chain (Stainless Steel and gold filled, stainless steel hoope earrings, Watch: Movado, Ring: 18k gold Cameo ring

Black will always be classic and timeless but beige is a must for this season! Whether it is your outfit or accessories, it is a shade that you can’t do without in your wardrobe. It is a gorgeous tonality that can be combined with most colors. From light beige to camel, it is a shade that exudes simplicity and class.

There’s just something so clean, classic and chic about neutrals, and these shades look flattering against most skin tones.  Dressing in monochrome makes a statement without much effort by the wearer. This is one of the easiest fashion trends to execute and it’s perfect for Spring 2012. Varying the shade of your pieces is easy and adds depth, detail, and interest to your overall look.

You can never go wrong when purchasing neutrals as these pieces go with virtually everything and can be mixed, matched and re-worn endless times regardless of which fashion trends are popular at the time. When wearing your look again, simply switch out one item for another with bold color, this will be the statement piece and focal point of your ensemble. A hot pink lip, a royal blue bag, or leopard-print shoes can transform your already worn outfit into a different look.

Classic designs are not necessarily strict uniform for work and evening wear, you could choose a pair of fitted dark blue jeans worn with a white plain t-shirt to form a casual, relaxed look for you to wear throughout the day. Selecting basic essentials for your wardrobe in a variety of colours will help to vary your wardrobe whilst always look right on trend.

Traditional fashion styles do not necessarily have to look dull and bland. Adding a pop of colour or opting for a classic yet bespoke design such as a shift dress or pencil skirt, you can look chic and expensive in an instant. By investing in some timeless classics, you can save money all year around whilst looking like you have just stepped off a catwalk. Since you are saving money you could select one or two pieces of designer clothing for added luxury value.

By employing classic designs into your wardrobe, you will be able to look chic and fabulous without exhaustion of employing the latest trends each season and worrying about classic attire fading from the limelight.
