Spring 2012 color trends - Margarita -

Today's pick is Margarita -- a blend of lime and seafoam green. Below, some of my favorite ways to wear it.

Green in all its many shades -- from mossy ferns to menthol mints to ocean teals -- is a lucky color to wear this spring. One of nature's favorite hues, the greens this year are balanced with cool pastels.
Pantone, the color expert, predicts that we will be drinking up an icy "margarita" for our spring wardrobes and for fall 2012 -- celebrate by wearing a warm rich ultramarine -- a favorite on the fashion runways for this season.

What I'm wearing:
From Temptation Boutique: the shoes: Bumper, Jeans: Kan Kan, The white top, Silver and Green ring and Green Glass bracelet, Belt: Ti amo, Earrings: Six, Blazer: Carlucci

I love following the Pantone colors, flipping through the decks of swatches, lining up coordinating shades, and styling my layouts based on the vibrant colors that pique my interest. Since seasonal colors have been popping up in stores, wardrobes, and editorials everywhere, I thought I would pick out a few pieces that were been inspired by the Spring color trends. I love the fresh mossy shade of a muted green and while pops of neon and bright yellows and
pinks are always fun, an understated hue can be just as interesting.

This dusty green shade is all about soft glow, and you’ll be glowing from head to toe

This piquant and soft yellow-green lifts spirits with its refreshing and stimulating glow.

And you'll also get lucky this spring and summer with green in accessories -- luscious dollops of mint in ladylike handbags, floppy turquoise green straw hats, color-blocked strappy sandals and floral-inspired earrings. Take your pick, and go green.

Ever wanted a lime margarita? Well, Margarita is the next color that will be significant in the spring. With the right accessories and a monochromatic outfit, it will fit right in. The gemstone Jade is an inspiration.

One of the most subtly vibrant colors for spring is Margarita. Although the name suggests something brightly yellow, the hue itself is a lovely shade of yellow-green, not quite lime and with definite hints of sea foam. I love this shade, which promises to look great with other colors like Sweet Lilac, Driftwood, and Cockatoo.
This is the kind of green that makes you want to run to the beach and order that Margarita two for one special while you take in the sun and enjoy the fun!
