Trend Finder: Geometric Prints

Image
Fashion gets funky this summer as geometric prints take over accessories. Designers use geometric shapes in both basic and bright colors to add texture to summer staples. What I'm wearing: Jeans: Paris Blues, Blouse: Temptation Boutique, Belt: Primark, Shoes: Xtra-star, Earrings: Xtra-star How to Wear Geometric Prints Geometric prints are immediate eye catchers. Their psychedelic boldness is perfect for women who like to stand out, and anyone fitting into that category should be careful on mixing and matching such prints because getting noticed for all the wrong reasons won’t reflect the wisdom of your choice. Rules on Wearing Geometric Patterns Whether you like to go flashy and opt for visually exciting prints and bright colors, or you prefer a more toned down look with simpler patterns, you need to take a few things into account if you want to attract the right amount of positive attention. When it comes to choosing a geometric printed design, the pos

From rich hues of grape, plum , aubergine and eggplant to brighter violets , amethysts and pinkish mauves . What I'm wearing: Dress: Temptation Boutique, Cardigan:Esprit, Shoes: Michael Michelle, Accessories: Temptation Boutique, Watch: GUESS, Clutch: Louis Vuitton The Role of Purple in Women’s Fashion Purple in Chinese culture is a lucky color, the color of wealth and prosperity in Feng Shui. It is unconventional and enigmatic, elegant and the symbolic color of royalty. It sends fashion messages of seductiveness and style, es

Trend: American Flag Scarves

This seasons trend that I'm loving is the flag print trend. The american flag is the most popular flag when trying out this trend, but I'm obsessed with the british flag. the red and blue of both these flags are spectacular colors for any skin tone, and these flags are great if you want to create an edgy look. I have always been a huge fan of the colors red, white, and blue. Paired together they give a crisp, fashion forward feel. Patriotic fashion is nothing new, there have always been touches of this every season in fashion, but this season it goes from subtle touches to literal American flag pants, sweat shirts, and even shoes!! I am totally loving this take—it feels so rock and roll and retro 70's with a modern twist! Just over the weekend I bought a red blazer, denim and a vintage American flag scarf. Later, when I looked over everything, the vibe I was digging that day was very apparent. All of these pieces work great together but also are key pieces that wo
